As a Security Coordinator, you'll work to ensure programs are effective. You'll also perform regular inspections on security systems and make arrangements for repairs.
In this role, you may have the duty of maintaining the automated security systems and employee ID card system. A Security Coordinator often also serves as the point of contact for security system issues. Good communication is important since one of your duties may also be to provide training to employees on use and features of security systems.
A Security Coordinator should have a general knowledge and/or experience in industrial safety. A strong knowledge of OSHA is required.
