Safety will be your number one priority as you operate equipment to move large or heavy materials. Part of your job will also be to perform an inspection of your equipment and perhaps make minor repairs when needed. You may work with many different types, makes, models and sizes of cranes, such as mobile cranes, tower cranes, boom trucks and self-erect tower cranes. You’ll work with Riggers and other team members to get the job done right.
Safety will be your number one concern in this job. Crane Operator’s duties are complex and can be dangerous if you don’t follow protocol and safety rules.
