Analyzer Technicians make a great living and are in high demand. They install, calibrate, and maintain some of the most intricate instrumentation in the world. They are highly skilled. They are vital for the control of processes and environmental compliance.
Analyzer Technicians carry out all aspects of maintenance, modification, calibration and testing of analyzer instruments. You'll perform specialized instrumentation troubleshooting. You will perform scheduled maintenance procedures for plant analyzer instruments.
With your skills as an Analyzer Technician, you will watch out for equipment failures. You'll perform preventative maintenance and take corrective action necessary to ensure things stay in good working order. You'll get to improve existing process analyzer systems while working with others on your team. Part of your work will also be to repair any part of the process analyzer loop. This includes components of the sample systems (tubing, valves, fittings) when needed.
You'll work with Operations workers to resolve process and instrument related problems, which requires an in-depth knowledge of the process and its control systems. You will have the opportunity to direct and participate in the inspection & testing of completed work ensuring standards and quality goals are met.
This job may require shift work.
