In this role, you'll conduct analyses of materials, environmental samples, and finished goods. Then you'll interpret test results and compare them to established criteria. As a Quality Control Analyst, you'll also perform visual inspections of finished products. Finally, you'll complete the documentation needed to support testing processes.

Strong knowledge in chemistry is important in this role. You need knowledge of the chemical properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. Experience with scientific testing equipment used in chemical evaluation is also needed to be successful in this role.
