ISC, a privately held company, is an industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls company offering engineering, construction and maintenance services. Founded in 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we have grown to employ over 2,500 people primarily in the southern region of the United States.

Through our offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston, and Lake Charles, we service the chemical processing, petrochemical, refining, power, and pulp & paper industries.

ISC is an industrial electrical, instrumentation and controls contractor that provides construction and maintenance services to our customers. Our reputation for delivering superior safety and quality from the smallest projects to multi-billion dollar plant expansions is unparalleled.

ISC’s nationally award winning and NCCER certified workforce provides plant industrial electrical power system construction of the primary substation through distribution to all of the final power elements. We construct the underground and above ground raceway systems for all plant electrical, instrumentation and communication cabling systems.

We also specialize in installing plant instrumentation, analyzers, communication and security systems, and DCS/SIS/PLC control systems. Our highly skilled, certified instrument technicians and craftsmen are experienced with every major instrumentation and controls manufacturer. We build, commission and startup loops on projects ranging from a single loop to many thousands.

ISC has strived since the Company’s beginning to be the model corporate citizen. In the past year, ISC and its associates have contributed to over 80 charitable organizations, in the form of monetary donations and more importantly, the giving of time, and personal caring. ISC consistently demonstrates a giving heart each day, by our associates reaching out and serving individuals in our community in a number of sectors – education, medical research, health and well-being, to name just a few.

In 2014, ISC established the Humanitarian Committee for the purpose of reviewing charitable opportunities which could have the potential of improving life within our community. This Committee is comprised of associates representing different departments within the company, and addresses the needs of our community in many various capacities. All requests are considered, and decisions are communicated upon careful review. The Humanitarian Committee is able to provide monetary and/or volunteer resources to the projects they approve
